"The Kansas archery opener did not disappoint! This year we returned to KS to hunt an area of the state we hunted only one year previous and what we had learned last year proved extremely valuable. After arriving the day before the opener, scouting and putting some birds to bed in a familiar roost, we knew exactly where we wanted to set up the next morning.

Having had a close call in this spot last spring, we thought we knew exactly what the birds would do when they flew down, but they proved us wrong when they pitched down behind us. We watched as several different toms and jakes sorted out the morning pecking order and after getting aggressive on the call, we caught the attention of one of the gobblers who headed our way on a string.

As he approached though, an overly-confident jake pushed him around behind us, but was unable to cut him off entirely. The Tom veered behind our setup and we could only listen as he strutted his way a mere 5 yards behind us, spitting and drumming the whole way. I was frozen like a statue waiting for him to appear in my perrifrials as he approached the decoy. After strutting around the decoy, pressing up against it, he finally faced away and blocked his head so I could come to full draw and release an arrow. An incredible way to kick off spring with opening day success on these animals who tend to beat us at the game more often than not!” - @michaelhunsucker

Prototyping of the T2 went well. And I mean really well.

Owner and lead Engineer Nate Grace released one of the final prototypes at this Texas buck. We sat in awe after he went down and just smiled.

The T2 has many features that make it a step above other 2” two blades. Increased strength, a new reliable and quiet retention system, and less overhang give 2 blades a new standard.

The Megameat blades are designed to bend on hard impacts, not break so that momentum isn’t lost and the broadhead keeps cutting and pasting though.

“Would you rather have perfectly intact blades every time or unbelievably violent damage and incredibly short blood trails?” @red_arrow_tv
